The Left is having to do some soul searching after the shellacking they took on November 5th. Many of them are doing a lot more blaming and crying than actually trying to understand how their out-of-touch and radical policy positions alienated America. 

But what will New Jersey’s Democratic gubernatorial candidates learn – if anything? 

So far, the folks who have announced look pretty radical. And if they try to tell you otherwise in the aftermath of our state’s swing to the right, I’d urge you to look at their records. They tell a pretty brutal story. 

Save NJ in 2025 – JOIN the Common Sense Majority

I’m already a member, but I’d like to chip into take on this craziness!

Rep. Josh Gottheimer finally announced his campaign on Friday after much speculation that he was about to jump in. You may remember him as this apologist for Kamala Harris’ communist-style price control plan, for which he was called out by none other than CNBC… Then, on Monday morning, his fellow New Jersey Rep. Mikie Sherrill launched her campaign as well. 

Here is a preview of both their votes on key issues. Do these votes seem in step with New Jersey’s rising Common Sense Majority? I think not. 

❌Gottheimer and Sherrill voted against requiring proof of citizenship to vote

❌Gottheimer and Sherrill voted to send billions more to Ukraine

❌Gottheimer and Sherrill voted against the Secure the Border Act 

❌Gottheimer and Sherrill voted to allow biological men to compete in women’s sports

Yikes! Extreme much? 

Then, there’s New Jersey’s uber-Leftist Jersey City Mayor, Steve Fulop. This man hasn’t met an extreme position he won’t jam down the throats of residents, regardless of how it may hurt them. 

❌Crime rose with Fulop as Mayor – and he tried to hide it with misleading data. But it’s not passing the smell test when you look at the real data – or talk to residents who have experienced the rising crime first hand. 

❌Fulop made Jersey City a “Sanctuary City” for illegals.

❌Fulop fired an aide for supporting his sister’s MAGA campaign.

❌Fulop supported radical transgender policies, driven by his LGBTQ+ Task Force and touted his city’s perfect score from radical HRC which advocates for men in women’s sports.

Do we want him running the whole state? No thanks, Mayor. 

Then, our favorite corrupt Trenton power broker and former State Senator, Steve Sweeney, who was bested by Ed Durr in 2021, has had his hat in the ring for almost a year now. Let’s not forget the bad ideas he shoved on our state during his reign.

❌Sweeney pushed bill to give driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants. 

❌Sweeney supported extending Murphy’s emergency powers during COVID to further control and stifle New Jerseyans’ freedoms. 

❌Sweeney has been a repeated enemy of parents’ rights.

❌Sweeney continues to advocate for disastrous windmills on the Jersey shore.

Remember, this is just a sampling of their really, really bad records. There’s more.

Common sense is rising up and these Leftist candidates left New Jersey behind long ago. Let’s ignore what will likely be hasty attempts to remake themselves in a new image and remember what they’ve actually done when they had power…when the economy was bad…and the border was in crisis. 

The emperor has no clothes!
