It’s Inauguration Day, friends! Or, as I like to think of it, “Return to Common Sense Day!”
I’m blessed to be here in Washington for the festivities and there is definitely a new feeling in the air that was missing the last four years. Hope, optimism, and patriotism. I’ve never seen more red, white, and blue in our nation’s capitol.
The Left, predictably, are melting down, though not quite as spectacularly as they did in 2017. It’s hard to keep throwing tantrums that one-up the previous.
Nancy Pelosi and other top Democrats are boycotting the inauguration. Not that we’ll miss them… Artist Carrie Underwood is withstanding withering criticism for her accepting an invitation to perform at the inauguration.
But we can ignore the tantrums because, friends, freedom is back. Common sense is back. Border security is coming back. Wokism’s days are numbered. Tough on crime policies are coming back. Economic recovery is on the way.
And why are we about to experience the return of common sense? Because millions of common sense Americans stood up to the elite media, academia, and those pointing their fingers and telling us what we *should* think and instead we voted for our families, our livelihood, and our country.
THAT is the power of democracy at work.
The powerful Hollywood elite may have a lot – wealth, fame, and the freedom to do what they want with little consequence. But they learned in 2024 that they don’t have the power to shape American leadership. That power belongs to the people. Always has, and always will. So let’s celebrate – and let’s prepare to usher in a similar common sense wave to Trenton next
