These candidates for New Jersey governor don’t give us much credit as voters.
They must think our memory of everything that happened before November 5th has been wiped and we’re ready to buy whatever they peddle as gospel truth.
To hear many of them talk, you’d think they were running as candidates on the right, not committed leftists who’ve spent their careers voting for everything voters just repudiated last month.
Yep, it’s crazy.
Mikie Sherrill would have us believe that “I listen to people in the district and I focus on those things that most impact their lives.” Was she “listening” to her district when she voted against the Secure the Border Act and voted against requiring proof of citizenship to vote?
Give to Promote Common Sense in 2025
Josh Gottheimer wants to be the “low taxes” and “low costs” candidate who believes in “Jersey values.” Then why did he support Harris’ communist price-control proposal, vote for billions more in funding to Ukraine, and oppose protecting women in sports to kow-tow to the radical trans agenda?
Or take Steve Sweeney, who makes bold pledges to oppose higher taxes in New Jersey – while as corrupt party boss and Senate President, he championed plenty of tax increases. But we’re just supposed to forget all that.
It’s a new day, friends, and gaslighting voters to sound like a Republican is the politically expedient thing to do.
This is a moment tailor made for the Common Sense Majority.
In 2025, we’re going to say “wait a second!” and hold them accountable to their records. We’re not going to let them get away with business as usual in campaigning or governing.
The establishment Left may have underestimated us before, but the tide is turning. Help us turn it. JOIN Common Sense Club – or bring a friend aboard if you’re already a member!
